When
I was a young boy, I
was told,
That Birds of Freedom flew
in my soul.
I'd call on them daily, and
with me they'd play,
And all 'round the world,
I'd travel their way.
And as I grew older, I
learned how to make,
The Birds of Freedom help me
escape.
But
now they've
stilled the
birds, I entered
their
schools But now they've
stilled the
birds,
With all their rules, And with all their words. Bending my life and making me stay, All the Birds of Freedom went away... |
Now
I'm up with the
world For though
they've
stilled
the birds, And with the
Birds of
Freedom
